CVCC Sexual Assault Awareness Training

Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC) is committed to providing information to students, faculty and staff about relationship violence, sexual assault, and related issues. This training course will provide you with the information you may need if you are sexually assaulted or you witness such an assault.

As you review this information, please remember:

1. Sexual assault and related violence is everyone's issue. If you or someone you know has been a victim, please seek help.

2. CVCC's main goal is to provide the resources you need to have a safe, healthy, and fulfilling educational experience. This training will inform you of resources that are available to prevent, protect, and educate.

3. Sexual assault and violence affects everyone; no matter what your age, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status might be.

As part of our comprehensive prevention efforts for students, faculty, and staff, CVCC expects you to complete Sexual Assault Awareness Training. Please review all of the information provided under each tab. Once all tabs have been viewed, you are asked to take a quick assessment to test your knowledge. This course is not required or a grade issued, however your participation will be noted in the overall statistics which are kept as a reporting tool.
